Ongoing Projects

Garden With Us

Hebert Arboretum also has many wonderful projects for the public:

Our projects include the Bluebird Restoration Project, the Conifer Garden, Daffodil Hill, the Vincent J. Hebert Lilac Walk, our beautiful Butterfly & Humming Bird Garden, our Memory Garden and more. We are also affiliated with the Gardens of the Berkshires whose projects we participate in.

Learn with us, in hands-on instruction, as we beautify our park.

Join The Friends of Hebert Arboretum for a morning or afternoon gardening in the Hummingbird & Butterfly Garden, the Memory Garden and the other gardens.

Call Judy, Gardens Facilitator, 413-445-5540, for dates and times.

Bring tools and gloves, if you have them, some will be provided. Beginners welcome.
A bonus is that when the thinning of plants is done volunteers get to take home the extra plants.
